Ingredients:
2 Florida avocados
1/3 cup sour cream
1/3 cup Hellmann's Mayonnaise
1/4 cup finely chopped vidalia or red onion
juice of half of a lemon
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
crushed red pepper to taste
Peel and pit avocados, slice into small chunks. In medium mixing bowl, add avocado, sour cream, Hellmann's Mayonnaise, and garlic powder. Beat with electric mixer until desired consistency. I prefer to make my guacamole very smooth with as little chunks as possible.
When the avocado mixture is mixed to your personal preference, add onion and juice of half of a lemon. Mix with a wooden spoon, taste, and add salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper to suit your palate. A great addition to this guacamole is 1/2 teaspoon fresh chopped cilantro and 1/3 cup finely diced tomatoes. Lastly, please enjoy!
